Logicalis US increases networking and services business with acquisition of Network Infrastructure Corporation

Logicalis Group, the international IT and Communications solutions integrator, has acquired Network Infrastructure Corporation (NIC), a Phoenix, Arizona-based Cisco Gold Partner. NIC provides network consulting and IT services to the K-12 education, state and local government, gaming and hospitality markets across the Southwest United States.

This acquisition significantly builds Logicalis’ presence in the Southwest expanding its networking and services business. It will also provide NIC clients with access to Logicalis’ outsourced services, cloud computing and data centre management solutions. NIC’s proven model for delivering wireless, security, and video services will provide a platform for Logicalis to expand on those capabilities on a national level.

NIC was established in 1994 to support the technology requirements of the education vertical, offering key technologies for schools including networks, Video-On-Demand, Inter-campus wireless connectivity and physical security. Since its founding the company has grown to annualised revenues of approximately $20 million.

Ian Cook, Chief Executive of Logicalis Group, comments:

“This acquisition is a great opportunity to consolidate our presence in the South West States and broaden our skills and expertise in the networking and services space for that region. NIC brings a very impressive services model and in-depth industry knowledge that we can now deliver on a national level.”
